Psalm 127:1 - First Things First

Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is useless. ~ Psalm 127:1
The Lord is invisible; the unseen is eternal. The house is visible; the seen is temporal.
The architect's work is unseen by those admiring the house. Without her renderings, things wouldn't go as the should. She has toiled in obscurity to produce an open display. The builders follow the renderings.
The Lord's work is done in obscurity - unseen places - but the Lord has to do the work. The Lord has to build and draw and inspire and quicken a heart. Without the Lord's work first, all work is useless.
If the Lord isn't in the study, She won't be in the shout. We may shout, but it will be in vain.
