Psalm 127:1 - Tears and Plans

26Sep08

Except the Lord build the house...Psalm 127:1

The Lord is the architect and provides the often unseen elements of a house: the plans.  You need plans for the house, otherwise your building is in vain.

He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoincing, bring sheaves with him.  ~ Psalm 126:6

Weeping represents the presnet circumstance abut the seeds represent the plans for the future.  I'ts OK to cry, as long as crying isn't all you do. A plan is needed for rejoicing later.  God gives the plan.

We sow what God gives.  We build what God designs.  Our responsibility is to pay attention to what God requires and provides; to use the requirements and provisions on earth.

What good are houses and seeds in the afterlife?  We'll require zero shelter and perfected bodies are nourished by the Perfecter.  Houses and seeds are for the here and now.
